Fool's Gold
Carol and Steve Robson are Fool's Gold - Acoustic Musicians with a very long track record of delivering entertaining, funny, and sometimes thought-provoking live music shows.
The shows have strong themes running through them, and there is always a mixture of original and well-known music, all delivered live. The shows feature the music - but also the stories, histories, and mysteries that lie behind them all supported by great projected visuals.
We play for Village Halls, theatres, and organisations. At the moment we are delivering two Village Hall tours every year and shows for Organisations by invitation.
We have a full range of PA, Projection, and simple lighting suitable for a range of venues. All of our gear is fully PAT checked and we carry full Public Liability Insurance.
I attended last night's gig and I just had to email and thank you again. I thoroughly enjoyed your show, it was absolutely fascinating ☺️ I’ve never seen anything quite like it, and it’s great!

The Shows - 2027
We have two all-new shows for 2027. They both feature all of our trademark content: great stories, live acoustic music - plenty to join in with and fascinating projected visuals to bring it all to life.
Both shows are available to book in two formats: a one-hour version suitable for meetings and groups, and a two-part version with an interval, full version for halls and theatres.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood
Charles Dickens sadly died before he could complete his final whodunnit novel - so now it's up to you, the audience, to solve it. Meet the suspects and hear the tale in the most fascinating and engaging of shows.
